No. 1 - Number one is a reworked Ruby based on a locomotive made by the NKP Locomotive Works around 1904 (NKP - as in No Known Prototype). I took on this project to learn a bit about live steamers before I build one completely from scratch. I have redone the boiler, added a water glass, rebuilt the cylinder block, dome, stack etc. New cylinders from Milton Locomotive Works and changing to inside admission greatly improved the running characteristics of the engine.
